Cariacou
lets fet to Miami, and then Bimini, and then Georgetown...still ok?
Alwright lets get to Greanada then !!
And here we are, checked in and legal here in Grenada. Most peple we
meet take the boat out of the water for the summer and go back home,
just like the baby boomers in Florida. Us? that was not part of the
plan, we will go on to central america, we just dont know when??

Tobago Cays & Union
neighbor in Bequia, 2nd Millenium, he promise me that leaving Bequia
to go south would our best sail so far!!! Well, he was right! The
perfect sea and the perfect wind...amazing!
We came here 3 years ago on a charter/training boat and we loved the
place. And we still love it, even if it was a bit more rolly...we had
to move and anchored in between the islands for the night. We bought a
snaper from a local fisherman and BBQed it. A bit pricy but it was
very good. We do not seem to be able to catch fish since we reached
Guadeloupe...same thing for our body boat lion's Paw.
We are now in Chatam Bay in Union, a big bay with variable holding and
gusty wind from the mountains all around.
Problem of the week was the impeller on the outboard. Stve from Lion's
Paw had to to me back to our boat after the Ti-Punch!!!

St. Lucia to Bequia
Lions Paw for Bequia. As the weather was nice and waves reasonable we
elected for the windward side of St.Vincent. Lee side of these big
island is very unpredictable. Wind varies with the shape of the land,
the gradient wind, how far you are of coast and how close to the
channels in between the islands. It was a nice sail, yes sailing at
last!!
Here in Bequia , well ''life is good''. It has been raining on and off
for the last 3 days. We are moving to Tobago Cays saturday and to
Union sonday. Monday we will check in GRENADA at last!! In Cariacou,
will stay there for a couple of days.
